Choir News

Last updated 19th of December 2018.

The Choir wishes all its loyal supporters and friends a very Merry Christmas and a healthy and enjoyable 2019 and beyond.

On Saturday the 6th of October, the Choir was awarded the "Most Inspirational Business Award" at the annual Corby Business Awards ceremony in recognition of all the hard work and dedication of its members.

One of the factors that may have influenced that award is the standard and success of the Choir's concerts to help local communities raise money for their charitable causes. The twelve concerts performed by the Choir so far this year have helped the various organisations, who had booked us to sing for them, to raise between them £7,714 which averages out at almost £650 per event.

If you wish to book the choir to sing at your venue on either a Friday or a Saturday night in 2019, to help you raise funds for your charitable event, please contact the Concert Secretary in January because he is in the USA at present - see the officers page for contact details.

Our Publicity Officer publishes regular Press Releases, the latest of which can be viewed by clicking here

Earlier Press Releases may be found on the Bits & Pieces page.

If you wish to give us feedback about any of our performances, please send an e-mail to the Choir Secretary - see the officers page for contact details.

You can now follow the choir's current activities on facebook.

Welcome to the web-site of The Corby Male Voice Choir.

We hope that you can find here useful information about us.

Our choir enjoys singing and, by doing so, helps charitable organisations raise money for their cause. Details of our next concert are usually shown in the "Choir News" panel on the right.

If a concert like this, on a Friday or Saturday evening, would help you raise funds for your cause, please get in touch with our Concert Secretary to check our availability – see the contact details on the officers page.

As you can see from our Engagements page, we have a few dates already booked for 2019 and more will be confirmed in the New Year after the Concert Secretary has returned to the UK. Please join these lucky early bookers by getting in touch with him in January.

On the other hand, if you would like to sing with us, please see the information on the Join Us page.
